Tyrez better known as Tyler Mitchell grew up in New Bedford, MA an hour south of Boston. Born on April 29, 1986 to Tracey and Brian Rezendes, he found himself since the age of 4 singing and dancing as life could offer nothing better. Upon his graduation from New Bedford High School, Tyrez then attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA and found himself deprived of all happiness while his face was in the books. After signing out of school in the end of 2004, Tyrez moved to Tampa Fl., to pursue working with producers who had fallen in love with his unique vocal style of Hip-Hop and Pop fused into what many of his followers have dubbed Hip-Pop. Growing up listening to Janet Jackson, Deborah Cox, Usher, and Justin Timberlake as well as many others Tyrez formed a style of music that is unique and well appreciated. This 20 Y.O. R&B sensation is the newest singer to show promise in the music industry. Bottom Line: Tyrez is the future of HIP-POP!
