The radios on playing some pulp pop crap, What kind of Helen Keller clone clown is producing that, I miss those good old days, when songs had something to say,…. Chorus II- So I play a few riffs, and ponder all my what ifs, then I head out to be a working stiff, chasing dreams till I’m blue in the face, Just another rat stuck in that endless maze fading fast from this human race. Bridge- I had a gig last weekend in a back alley dive, Ten drunks and a whore after a three hour drive, 50 bucks in chump change…..no applause, Just another martyr to the cause, I’ve got those Monday morning hung over blues, As I’m climbing back into my working shoes,.
