Chris "Flash" Shockley is a songwriter in Houston Texas. Influenced by the music of Otis Redding, Johnnie Taylor and the old school soul singers from the 70s, 80s and 90s he tells stories that relate his life to everyone who hears his lyrics and music. A classically trained piano player who gravitated to jazz and blues he has written music for a great many local bands in Houston. "Flash's" major goal is to write for artists who can convey the powerful images he tries to write in his songs.
