Jordan Robertson is a 20 year old local producer who released his first CD Fiya (Fire) In The Sky under his own record label Fiya (fire) Records. He's a 2005 Tara High School Graduate where he was a member of the Jazz Ensemble ,and, had a spot in the Rythm Section for 2 years. He plays piano and keyboard Jordan started playing piano at the age of 5 and began taking music lesson's at 10 years old. His love for music is broad in range from Jazz to Classical - Hip Hop - R&B and Oldies. His music mentors are Yo-Yo Ma, Herbie Hancock, Count Basie, Hugh Masekela and Alicia Keys. He studied jazz at a local music academy and he's also attdended the LSU Music Academy, his music is a style of it's own and leaves the door open for the listeners own interpretation. He enjoys attending the Baton Rouge Symphony, his latest CD due to be releases this spring, local and WorldWide via the Internet's Music Stores. The CD features the titled song Standing Out with lots of jazz chords- Latin Jazz-R&B-Neo-Soul-Rap an a little bit of samba. LISTEN AND ENJOY!
