Bio

Lost Origin formed in summer 2006 and have been writing music since then. Mark and Ian, who had been writing original material together for a few months met up with Dan and Dimitris, who had already been playing together for a few years. After a drink, a chat and a cramped practice in Guildford, Lost Origin was born. The combination of Mark's prodigious songwriting ability Ian's composition and production genius, Dan's driving rhythm playing and Dimitris' punishing approach to drumming gives a unique feel to the Lost Origin sound. The sound is a thickly layered mixture of Mark's edgy, biting lyrics, Ian's pulsing synth-bass and melodic keyboard work, Dan's varied guitar work and the unstoppable drumming force that is Dimitris.
