Bio
Name: Jeff Greymann Age: 34 Birthplace: Queens, New York, USA Current location: Tampa, Florida, USA Keyboardist, Vocals, Graphic Design Contact Info:[email protected] links to websites: www.myspace.com/cliqbeatcliq www.myspace.com/egsters www.myspace.com/backverse www.myspace.com/jeffgreymann www.greytechstudios.com Background: It all started at the age of 9 when I was made to take piano lessons. At first I was trained for years in classical piano then becoming more curious in other fields of music I broadened my skills jazz to R&B. Coming from a musical background my mother a singer, music was I guess, in my blood. Fast forward to my first mind blowing experience at an electronic keyboard store in the mall. When I first touched the keys and heard a different sound other than the piano I was always familiar with I was astounded. The buttons, the pretty lights and various sounds from a small little electronic box with keys was what would be one of the major doors opening for me to the world of synthesizers. After begging my parents, who are the main reason why I was made to play piano in the first place now were being asked to spend more money on a synthesizer. I guess they never expected that they would pay for anything more then my music lessons ha-ha!! Well they finally gave in and bought me my first keyboard, Korg Poly-800. From there and much more begging I got hold of another revolutionary keyboard-a sampler. It was on from there. From wanting to start bands to trying to perform at clubs it has been one musical journey after another. Now at the age of 34 and with much experience and more maturity I still pursue the world of music making at many levels. My tastes and influences come from a broad range of music. My mainstay is in the realm of experimental electronica but broadens off to Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggaeton, to even symphonic scores for film which I hope to write one day. My goals in music are to create moving experiences whatever genre they might be in-maybe even create a new one. Also one of my dreams is to write a score for a film and work with a symphonic orchestra. Graphic design and Flash Animation is another hobby of mine in which I also designed artwork for my own websites and music. Along with a longtime friend and now band mate of mine (Derek Greymann) who also shares the same interests in music and graphic design we delve into the world ready to unleash the creative talents that we possess amongst the masses. Our main music collective goes under the name of Enirsha Grey which is an EBM, Electro-Industrial, Experimental type of music. Solo project Cliq-Beat-Cliq is an exploration of the Progressive House, Dance music genre. Side projects also include Backverse, Tech-Apart which are both in the realm of experimental electronica and others currently under production. We hope to gain the support of a record label that will bring our works to fruition.
