The dynamic, gifted and exceptionally talented Micheal Sebastian Cole is an extraordinarily proficient, multi-talented and an anointed man of God. He was born in Mound Bayou, Mississippi and raised in Fort Meyers, Florida. His spiritual journey commenced when he was thirteen years old. Significantly, at thirteen years of age, he was baptized in the Lord at the Church of Christ. He is faithful to God and profoundly aware that everything he does he must do in the will of God. In other words, Micheal must be about his father’s business. Specifically, Micheal is a phenomenal vocalist and skilled producer. In fact, he produced his debut CD project “About My Father’s Business.” This masterpiece production features the genre of contemporary gospel. The project is a “must hear” and is destined for success. The first cut on the project is entitled “Converted.” This exclusive cut has tremendous relevance for Micheal. Accordingly, because of his conversion in the Lord, he wants other youths to experience the same salvation. During his conversion, however, his parents were not together or attending service. In spite of this, Micheal learned first hand the effect on the lives of young people when their parents are not present. His vocals exude a smooth sophistication on every song and simultaneously convey an earthiness that echoes awe-inspiring melodies. Micheal simply sings every song with such an anointing that the listener is uniquely aware that he is certainly about his Father’s business. This project has rhythmic agility and superbly cognitive narratives. Significantly, his vocals and the musical arrangements on this project have plenty of bite and rhythmic directness that flows like a river. The quality of which is profoundly mesmerizing. His lyrics have a masterful approach and they are elegantly oriented. These characteristics in the songs on the CD are remarkably illustrated. For example, the cuts Holy Bible, The New Life, Flee Fornication, Whose Guiding You, and Heaven Is Where I Want To Be all demonstrate prolifically what Michael means to be About My Father’s Business. Notably, his vocal delivery is extraordinarily soulful and powerful. His audiences marvel at his ability to apply a personalized melodic/harmonic blend in his strong vocal delivery. Micheal has magnificently graced the listening ear with an incredibly impressive range. Distinctively, he utilizes a vast reservoir of vocal ranges and his ability to maneuver and implement them is uniquely his. He is a multi-faceted artist and produces a sound so rich and majestic that one needs only to hear him for a lifetime of appreciation. Micheal’s gifts and talents have afforded him the opportunity to minister in several venues, namely, Naples, Tampa, Punta Gorda, Fort Myers and Atlanta, Georgia. Another highlight of Michael’s musical career is his sterling performance in opening for the legendary Keith “Wonderboy” Johnson at the Clarion Hotel in Ft. Myers, Florida. These performance experiences allowed Micheal to realize he could genuinely communicate to the youth in music. Significantly, he also became acutely aware that the gifts and talents the Lord gave him was to be shared with the masses and to ultimately give it back to God with all glory and honor. Micheal is hopeful by the grace of God that the lyrics of the songs on the CD “About My Father’s Business” will touch many lives. It is his heartfelt prayer and desire that this project will bless individuals thus resulting in a massive global impact. Micheal has been working for God for several years. He has served as a deacon and participated in ministry in the Lord’s vineyard. He serves as a deacon under the dynamic leadership of his pastor, the Reverend Bernard Elizee, at the Church of Christ. His evangelical pursuits take him from door to door spreading the Word of God. He also leads songs in his church. He is faithful and humble in the Lord’s work. Micheal would clean the outside of the church building and he could also be found painting the inside. He is married to the very elegant and lovely Lakeisha Denise Cole and they are the very proud and blessed parents of a very beautiful daughter Diamondnique Cy’er Cole. Even though Micheal is incredibly busy, he still finds time for his favorite hobby basketball. His future aspirations are to enhance his education in learning how to read music and to play a few instruments like the piano and acoustic instruments. His first musical performance experience took place at the Alliance church in Punta Gorda. He fondly remembers that there were so many kids present. Their presence confirmed to him that it was his time to speak to them through music from the written word of God. Micheal could not believe the response he received from the kids -- it was a blessing!
