Bio

Debra is a graduate of Yale University with a Masters Degree in the Performing Arts and has a dynamic acting and singing career in the United States as well as internationally. She recently released her first solo CD, Sleep, Little One: Lullabies of the World which benefits the Pediatric Cancer Foundation and was included this year on the Grammy Nominating Ballot in the children’s music division. Debra is the host for Altanta Shorts, a half- hour weekly series on PBS-PBA30 which showcases the work of Atlanta independent filmmakers. She can also be seen as a principal actor in several independent films, television commercials, and industrials including the soon to be released film, “Grilling Bobby Hicks,” as well as in national commercials for Home Depot, Time Life's Superstars of Country with Kenny Rogers, Jack FM Radio, and Mohawk Carpets. She has been a promotional host for Comcast Cable, Brazilian National Television and The Denver Arts Council and featured in the fashion pages of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. www.myspace.com/debramcdavid
