Bio
Born from the love child of Brooklyn's Whole in One and Queens' Meridian Drive, this dynamic duo is set to break hearts and stereos. The band features Paul Morisi, the "bob saget look-alike" lead singer of Meridian Drive, and Rick Diffendale, the "lacking in stature" lead singer of recently broken up, Whole in One. The band formed in late January of 2006 when Diffendale turned to Morisi and asked, "do you want to start a side project?". Morisi simply replied, "yes." There is only one thing that SIDE PROJECT: side project is out to do, and that is kick as much ass as two good looking guys can do with acoustic guitars. SP: sp has recently put the finishing touches on their first full-length album aptly titled, "CD: cd". This album takes you on a journey through the highs and lows of ordinary, middle class life in America. If you've ever felt hopeless in any situation, if you've ever lost a friend, and more importantly if you love kick-ass acoustic rock, "CD: cd" is the album for you. From heart-felt numbers such as "Roxbury Won't be the Same" to in your face toe tappers such as "Hey Melissa! (featured on SYM.COM) SP:sp's "CD: cd" will leave you wanting more. Look for "CD: cd" to become availible to all during SUMMER '07.
