Originally named Transmission, The Mayfair Lovers first came together in the summer of 2005, playin several small gigs the same year. 2006 brought what it promised as the boys burst on to the local music scene recording a number of demos and reaching the semi-final of the local Battle of the Bands. Over their relatively short life the bamd have attracted an ever growing fan base due to their energetic yet controversial live shows. Dungannon's original indie/punk band have done piss all so far this year, but that should change..
