"Priceless” is the stage name that Nelson Johnson, a rapper from Pontiac, Michigan, goes by when he graces the stages of local venues and steps on the microphone at the recording studio. Priceless began dreaming about being a hip-hop star at the age of 10. In the 5th grade, he would beat on the tables and rhyme with his peers. He soon became more interested in the very way of life that these “super stars” lead. Although he isn’t focused on the fortune and fame, he saw a way to use his God given talent as an outlet to make it out what some call the “hood”. Born December 30, 1985, at the age of 21, Priceless has independently released and produced numerous projects under his future independent record label (Get Back Entertainment).As his own writer, producer and engineer, Price has never felt overwhelmed! “I love to do this, this is what I do!” he said. When asked about his influences, you will find that he doesn’t just look to the hip-hop moguls for guidance but to the whole industry. “Any one and everyone who does music of any kind is and influence” says Priceless. “I have always looked at not only the talent of an artist but the drive and love they have for the art”.
