Tapuach b'Dvash (Apple in Honey),an Israeli folk music band, presents a folk music from all parts of the world and mixes various musical influences. Klezmer, Gypsy, Ukrainian, Irish, Russian, Greek folk and Oriental music are in the repertoire of the group. A specialty of the band is authentic sounds and using of unique ethnic instruments. Tapuach beDvash (Apple in Honey) unites five different and interesting musicians under a single roof. Five individuals, with deep roots in different kinds of music, who discovered and learned to appreciate one another on different stages and then decided to focus their diverse talents and backgrounds on a common project -Tapuach b'Dvash Folk music group. Standards and rarities from the East European instrumental repertoire and original music from all over the world combined in a unique and evocative sound. Folk group Tapuach b’Dvash was born in 2003 The band has performed in various Israeli festivals: Festivals of Yiddish culture (2003-2005), Safed and Raanana klezmer festivals (2003-2006), Festival Humoristic (2004) and Klezmer festival (2005) in Tel-Aviv, Festival “Main Shtetl” in Ashdod (2005-6) Festival KlassiKameri in Eilat (2007) Tapuach b’Dvash took part in culture events of The Dahan Center of Sephardim Culture (Bar Ilan University) and also in the projects of The National Authority for Yiddish Culture (“The Theater of Yiddish Songs”.) Tapuach b'Dvash took part in International Festivals: The 5th International Jewish Theatre festival in Leeds UK-2005, The 20th International festivals of Street Theatre in Linz The 13th International festival of Street Theatre in Villach (Austria, summer 2006). In 2007 Tapuach b’Dvash will perform in Macedonia, Italia and Austria. “We're a group of Israeli artists who wish to create in a no boundaries world of music.
