I am a saxophone player from the Netherlands (even the Dutch keep mentioning it as Holland, which is only the western part of our little country, where folks from the south don't understand the language that is spoken in the North, while the maximum distance is only 300km) I started on clarinet when I was 9, played in the local band, marching for the Queen's birthday in front of her palace; how proud I was! My main interest was classical music, though my first heroe, Jimi Hendrix, died half a year after I got the double-album ReExperienced.Now I'm sorry to hear that Slava just died. What a great musician he was! My main occupation is teaching to play the saxophone. And playing of course... Arabic with my Oriental group Al Awady and bellydancer Mariska (the best in the world,I think). Jazz with various ensembles. Boogie Woogie with Anke Angel and classical with piano, Orchestra or solo.
