With the musical influences of The Sisters of Mercy, EBM heroes Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb and acts such as Neurosis, they achieved a strong 'cold' sound, which received positive critical acclaim and stood well against local punk, hardcore and metal bands. In 2000 God Experiment was established by Michael to pursue a different style of sound and has, to date, been mainly available on mp3-download sites.
