Hello there! Thanks very much for looking at my wee page. I'm 26, I'm Scottish, and I love playing music!!! I always have since I got my first drum kit at the age of 3. I have since then learned how to play guitar, bass and piano. I was classically trained at School and Music College but after Uni things went a bit mental and I ended up in rehab with alcohol addiction. I threw myself into the programme and with the help of the wonderful staff and my faith I was able to break the chains of addiction. I still see my self as a recovering alcoholic but I embrace everyday and I'm truly thankful for the gifts the Lord provides. The songs uploaded are part of a demo I wrote while in Rehab. Like most addicts coming to term with their addiction I needed an outlet for my thoughts and emotions. I wrote songs, firstly for myself and my acoustic guitar. I have since recorded a songs with the expertise of 3 really cool guys on the Sound Engineering course at JEVC. It also gave me the chance to add Drums, bass, more guitar parts, keys and backing vocals to my tracks. I also tried to keep the overall feel of the music acoustic as well. I'm about to start playing gigs on the live music circuit with the help from my good friend and producer Ricky (aka DJ Buddha)so watch this space. Another good friend of mine, Dave Mitchell has also been kind enough to help me get some music recorded (Soldierin' On) so it's all go at the moment. When I'm not writing my own stuff I'm producing music for other people like singer/songwriter Carrie MacDonald , a gifted and talented lass, and Hip Hop Tots who we are collaborating with to produce a diverse album that has popular children's nursery rhymes set to Hip Hop, Breakbeat, Ska, Folk, and acoustic music. This is currently an ongoing project and we should have more details later this year. I am really branching out and starting to write different music for different people.
