I HAVE LIVED IN SOUTH MS NEARLY ALL MY LIFE UNTIL HURRICANE KATRINA FORCED MY FAMILY AND I TO KANSAS CITY IN 2005. I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN SOME FORM OF THE ARTS SINCE EARLY ON INCLUDING PLAYS, BANDS, OPERA'S, CHOIRS, AND SONGWRITING. MY LIFE HAS BEEN FAIRLY DIFFICULT DUE TO SOME SETBACKS BUT I'VE FINALLY GOTTEN TO WHERE I AM ABLE TO RECORD MY SONGS AND SHOWCASE THEM TO ANY WHO WILL LISTEN. I'M EXCITED TO SEE WHERE IT TAKES ME AND I AM UP TO ANY CHALLENGE LIFE THROWS AT ME. MY MOST RECENT ADVENTURE HAS BEEN RAISING MY TWO DAUGHTERS, MALEENA AGE 5, AND ARIANNA AGE 2, ALONG WITH MY LONGTIME SWEETHEART AND FIANCE ANGELA. MY TALENT COMES FROM BOTH SIDES OF MY FAMILY. ON MY DAD'S SIDE I HAVE NINE AUNT'S AND UNCLE'S WHO INFLUENCED ME INTO WANTING TO PERFOM BY LISTENING TO THEM CAROL AND SING AT FAMILY EVENTS. ALSO I HAVE A FEW COUSINS WHO ARE RISING IN THIER OWN STYLES ON THE EAST AND WEST COASTS. ON MY MOTHERS SIDE MY GREAT GRANDFATHER NAEM KARACAND WAS A VIOLINIST IN THE NEW YORK SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AND ONE OF THE FIRST MIDDLE EASTERN JAZZ VIOLINIST TO FUSE THE MAJESTIC SOUNDING ARABIC MUSIC SCALES WITH AMERICAN JAZZ AND FOLK. MY MOTHER THOUGH IS PROBABLY THE MOST INFLUENCIAL AS SHE SPENT HER ENTIRE PREGNANCY SINGING IN CHURCH RIGHT NEXT TO THE PIPE ORGAN. I CAN PLAY GUITAR, PIANO, DRUMS, MANDOLIN, BASS, VOCALS, AND PRETTY MUCH AYTHING ELSE AS WELL AS BEING ABLE TO READ AND WRITE MUSIC WHICH I ACQUIRED WHILE STUDYING AT COLLEGE IN MS.
