[indent][b][color="darkblue"]Hailing from the UK, Chapter 13 orignally began in Summer of 2005 under the name "Starlight Romance" and sometime during the mists of 2006 they split but now not finding musical comfort in any band they joined they decided to newly reform "Starlight..." but with fresh new energy, band name and sound, the 4 original members Jason Brett, Scott Rathbone, Don Merritt and Jason Mattock come together respectively as better musicians and have a vision to become heavier, louder and more intense than ever before. With 3 of their orignal tracks up for listening, faved by friends around them during their begginning, and 1 new track entitled "My Life" which shows their improvements as musicians and as songwriters, they start work on a fresh sound, completely different compared to their "Starlight..." early days. Chapter 13 are letting nothing stand in their way! Based in Erith, Kent they have been together for nearly two years.Chapter 13 have recorded two Demos and so far have played two gigs, one at Carnival 365 in Eltham, London and the other at the Charlton Park Festival, Charlton, London. The four original line up is as follows; Jason Mattock[Lead Vocals], Scott Rathbone[Guitar], Donny Merritt[Bass], and finally Jason Brett[Drums]. Chapter 13 originally started off playing punk rock but things didnt really go according to plan, So as each member loved rock/metal, they decided to change their musical direction to rock with a nice metal fueled injection and change thier name to fit their new sound therefore Chapter 13 was born . Fear not tho as all their old songs are still alive but have all been improved including their peers favourite "I Rose For You". Each song from thier early days has been improved dramatcally compared to what they used to be- with heart felt melodies, blazing riffs, catchy bass, pummeling drums, intense vocals and friendly choruses. Chapter 13 are ready to bring their brand of heavy music to the masses.They are ready to let their energy flow and to rock out with people who appreciate them and if they're lucky, get that record deal and release a full length so people can listen to them at home.
