M.L. K. - “Major League Kingz” The Artists – M.L.K. are Atlanta based Hip-Hop artists. The Core members of the group are Jay Bee AKA Dr. Jekyll, T Saint Bolds AKA Saint, and Buck Cee. Long time friends and comrades they formed the group The Have-Notz in 1996 and ten years later metamorphisized into M.L.K. which stands for Major League Kingz. They have performed in various Atlanta nightclubs such as the Royal Peacock on the legendary Auburn Ave., Club Visions in Downtown Atlanta, the Atrium in Stone Mountain and opened up for Polo Da Don at Georgia Southern University. They will also be featured as the only unsigned artist on Black Bill Gates’ mixtape “King Shit” with the likes of artists such as T.I., Yung Jeezy, Rick Ross, and UGK! The Music – M.L.K. has a unique yet universal style, from Buck Cee’s strategic pauses in his delivery, to T. Saints patented “OKAAAY!!” adlibs, to Jay Bee’s raspy comparisons to everything under the sun with his catch phrase Similar”. The music ranges from melodic to intense to downright funky! The group is a powerful force to be reckoned with. All three artists write their own lyrics and all the production and engineering is done by Jay Bee. M.L.K. is known for their street rhymes and distinctive beats which has earned them comparisons to such groups as Outkast and the Ghetto Boys. With hits such as “Porno Music”, “Cash N Ya Face”, and “Stacks N the Stash House” how can they be denied?
