Born in Kenya, la-fam started raping at the age of thirteen,by which he could rap faster than most kids his age,his skill was concidered unique by his peer musicians.In high school he took part in most of the school functions,soon he was noticed by other bidding musicians.At sixteen, Mnubi-a classmate,Cliff-a schoolmate and him,formed K-9-a hip hop group.He then had the privillage of working with a reknown producer-Hiram,during his early stages in music.Hiram is reckowned for producing top Kenyan Hip-hop artists such as Abas,Ukoofulani,Bamboo and Kaz(a neo soul songbird). He later ended up working with Razul-a producer who worked hand in hand with Hiram.Under Razul he made most of the instrumentals of his tracks while Razul did most of the Vocal production.Currently he is working on promoting his album Knock Knock while selling an underground mixtape.He leaves you with a common phrase in his songs-a wise man once said a worse man said,a wise man never says what another says-
