Jimmy Navel is a unique blend of reggae sounds mixed with rock, punk, and blues, delivered in a socially consciousness way. Based in St. Louis, MO, Jimmy Navel continues to work as a solo artist/song writer, working with other local bands and providing original music for local independent film makers. With influences stemming from early blue grass, evolving all the way to dirty punk rock, Jimmy Navel has been playing and performing for over half of his life, always experimenting with styles and drawing inspiration from the world around him, and all of the trials and tribulations that go along with it.
