My name is Ty'Riil "Yung Swirve" Trimble. The name Yung Swirve came from the artist Mr. Serv-On when I was little I used to like him as an artist they said I could be crying and they would put his song on and I would be happy so instead of Serv-On they called me Swirve. I'm a 13 year old rapper from Mt. Vernon, Illinois. I found my passion for rapping at about the age of 5. I use to sit and watch my uncle make music. Everything about making music is Excites me, even back when I was 5. Being a 13 year old rapper I've gotten a lot of great feed back. "I was told that my flow was hot and my look was very marketable". That came straight from the mouth of Malik Brooks from Stardome Records. I write my own material, because I want it to come from the heart and to relate to the things that teenagers go through. (and my teenaged Fan base are loving me now, because they can relate. At this time Im currently in the process of completing my first cd. So most of my time is spent either writing or recording in the studio. I'm doing as much promotion as I possible can right now. I've done showsboth local and out of town. But majority of my fan base comes from around my neighborhood and online. My music is posted on myspace, showcaseyourmusic.com and on ... When I posed my demo song "We Got'em" on Imeem I had within 9,000 plays within 8 days. In June I will start traveling to promote my music my first stop will be at the Indie Music Expo in North Carolina. Then from there not really sure, but I will be on the move finding more ways to get my music out there. I feel like they need me, " The industry is like a plant I'm the water that you give to them". My future plans are to get signed to a major label and grow within that company and to have my name and my music known world wide. Then once I've reached that goal my plan is to come back home and give all the other unheard artist a chance to be heard. People gotta stop sleeping on these small towns, you never know what you'll be missing. But in closing I will leave you with this " I am the next teen to be running things, my music is hot, entergetic, and will keep you moving. My music never talks about anything negativ. And thats just whta my generation needs right now. and Yung Swirve is going to give them just what they want.
