[b][b][b]Born May 8th 1986 in Oklahoma City Raised by Supermom, He developed into a wonderful young man. Music was a part of his entire family and he expressed interest in music at a young age. At six months, Deon would hum tunes while he ate. Because his mother was young at the time his birth, he was able to spend much time with his grandparents. Deon was birthed into a family of vocalists. Granny as he calls her is a pianist, and a member of a group called the Fantastic Golden Airs. She took him to rehearsals and gospel events quit often. As they traveled from place to place so did Deon. His mother and aunt also traveled and sang. They shared the stage with KC & JoJo, The Williams Brothers, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, and The Five Blind Boys of Alabama, just to name a few. With much respect and admiration at the age of 13 Deon began to volunteer to sing backup for groups and artist.Soon after he began to write and arrange his own songs, and then a management company called Untapped Management founded Deon. This company gave Deon the opportunity to create his first single titled “Wonderful” in October 2002. This single sold over 1200 copies just in the Oklahoma City area. In the summer of 2003 his second single titled “You Yan’t Mess With Me Satan” was released. These singles got heavy radio play 1220 AM, 1140 AM, and 90.9 FM radio stations and landed him a spot in the market place to sell his product semi nationally.
