Marcus Guynn aka "Legacy" was born in Russellville, KY, November 8th 1984. Legacy later moved to the small town of Elkton, KY where he grew up and developed his love for music and songwriting. Though he always had an appreciation for music, it wasn’t until he made his way to Brooklyn that his appreciation gave way to passion. Now at the age of 23, Legacy is creating an overwhelming buzz in the streets of the South as well as the East Coast and metropolitan areas around the country. Legacy’s unique Brooklyn swag and East Coast lyrics paired with his “Dirty South” go-getta mentality has positioned him to be a front-runner in the music industry. No stranger to the spot-light, Legacy has appeared at a number of showcases and performances such as Block Ent’s Hood 2 Hood Showcase/DVD and Tennessee’s premier event, The Riverfest. Mixing superior artistic ability with incomparable composing skill, Legacy also boasts the title of being a prolific song-writer for any genre of music.
