For Gospel singer Beverly Burton, her soulful voice and musical creativity has been her opportunity to bring both her inspirational vision and love for people to all audiences. Since a young age, Beverly has been blessing gospel audiences all over the tri state area with her creative compositions, lyrics, and arrangements of many favorite hymns. . This Bronx , New York native is ready to extend her magnificent reach without watering down the message of love and salvation. "I don't want to be what’s already out there or what many want me to be... I want to be me!” she says determinedly. "And I've grown both vocally and spiritually since I first started and I can’t loose my vision in some labels watered down dream either”. Audiences have been validating Beverly for well over a decade. She has sung from the pulpit to the large stage of Lincoln center and is currently on tour with the Altino Brothers. She is the winner of the United Christian Artist Association 2006 Showcase and wherever or whatever, God gets all the praise When Beverly is not at Ms 337 being a full- time math teacher, she teaches piano and is the minister of music at Friendship Community Church. “At the start of my first year one of my colleagues informed my principal that I could sing.
