Chuk and Thor formed Fierce Culture in august of 1995 in the industrial park wasteland of Winsted, CT.and began to work on their first EP. Misanthropy was self-released in 1998, recorded by members of the punk band 'The Pist'. They immediately caught the attention of local kids in the area and began a small New England tour. This release launched the band into college radio stations and larger venues. After failure to get signed to a label, the duo continued to pursue various musical avenues through side projects. Chuk started his goth industrial act BloodMachine and began writing Irrational Allegro in 1999, while Thor relocated to NYC to play guitar for the goth rock band Bitter Grace. A few years later, Chuk released a promotional CDR called Tomorrow Was Yesterday from a strange metal band called Evil Delicious. The trio quickly diminished though for various reasons. At this point, BloodMachine seemed the only way to go. In 2006, while hitting every bump in the road recording Irrational Allegro, a new project arose. One with less hassle and more music for the dance floor. Wardance is just that. Once again featuring Chuk's precision programming, guitars, and samples, the full length studio album n/a was written, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Chuk at his home studio The Meadow St. Ghetto Mansion, and released on November 21st, 2006. The blistering tempo barely seems to contain the dance floor energy in "Interrogation", while at the other extreme, the darkwave track "Product" is sure to get people feeling that spine-tingling chill. Combining influences of techno, goth, EBM, and industrial, Wardance explores the dark side of human emotions while throwing dance beats at the listeners. These club anthems will soon appear in DJ sets around the world.
