Steven Satisfied Maclean a.k.a. (Sticko)' who's roots are from Suriname, Came from the roots, as his father was also the leader of a very large Steelband in the show business. Sticko begins playing music at a very young age. When he was 5 years he got his first instrument The old steeldrum set of his fathers. At age nine he had his first live performance playing alongside his father who's song just became nr 1 in the dutch hitparades by the titel of : (January- february) The Calendersong. After years of experience playing Soca and Calipso, Sticko then was inspired by the music of Bob Marley and the Wailers. From this his connection to reggae musicians just kept growing. In 1985 he got the chance to select and D.J. on a radio station in Holland(Zaandam) called Radio Freedom Zaanstad, Respect to Bobby obdam. from then it was reggae all the way. STICKO is a vocalist and play’s several instruments like, Drum, keyboard, guitar, bass, flute,Congas, steelpan(s) and more. He then started to play as session musician playing in several Studios And Reggaebands in Europe, ( The Bridge To Progress) Backing singers from Jamaica : (Eek-a-Mouse)and (Eric Donaldson), England(Earl 16)and(General Levi), Suriname (Papa toutjie)and(Mother Nature)
