I personally don't believe that where your from or what hood you grew up in makes you a better artist so I'm not going to talk about where I am from. I was born 1984 as a first generation Canadian. Both my parents are from Argentina and so music and rhythm has been with me from birth. At the age of 8 I started to play the drums for my church and have played at events in Toronto, Ohio, Chile, Argentina, etc... My love for music(All Genres) has been greatly influenced by the diversity of cultures where I was raised till the age of 17. At 18 I started to write songs and then I became more comfortable with freestyling and cyphering with others who shared the same intrests. At 19 I hooked up with my brother from another mother Squale Looks. We would both cypher and as a team battle as well. As time passed we began to believe in a dream and I guess you have to shoot for the moon to reach the stars. In the beginning of 2006 4 people got together created a crew name and decided to roll and spit as a crew. Our Crew is called Straight Papez. The reason for our name is simply do to the mind set of society where money rules all and so are journey of making the paper was our vision. Straight Papez Crew consists of 5 members now and growing. Our crew is a way to help each member to practice as well as cyphers to elevate both our vocabulary and imagination of word play, multis, metas, and punches.
