[color="green"][/color]Pulse_88 and ~:Despera:~ as a single man outfit started out after the break up of Huntington/Fort Wayne,IN based Industrial band SAWN, which broke up in November of 2003. Sean Williams, the Head of SAWN decided he was going into business alone as a single man act. What's original about both Pulse_88 and ~:Despera:~ is that the themes, images, album ideas/themes/artwork, programming, and production of the outfits is geared into a new genre in the electronic/underground movement. The combination of Arena Rock and light and dark EBM fused into one sound is what is noted for Pulse_88 and ~:Despera:~. The idea of having an act that would bring the energy and live guitars/programming of arena rock bands such as Stabbing Westward, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Gravity Kills, etc meshed into the sounds of Synthpop/Light EBM and Dark EBM greats such as Front 242, Apoptygma Berzerk, VNV Nation, :Wumpscut:, Das Ich, Die Form, Funker Vogt, etc. into two single man outfits. Thus Pulse_88 and ~:Despera:~ was formed and has been around locally in Indiana. Based in several United States such as California, Florida, and Washington. The newest albums for both bands Pulse_88 (Light Arena Rock-EBM) and ~:Despera:~ (Dark Arena Rock-EBM) have been finished for quite sometime and I am currently looking for labels and distributors to release the albums to the public. In 2005/early 2006 the main hard drive in the studio's computer was shot and had to be replaced, losing over 80 or more songs between both projects. After a new hard drive was installed, work on the newest albums was set forth and has been completed.
