Hugo studied at the Special Science School Etiti Imo State Nigeria and acquired a University education at the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) , Imo state Nigeria where he obtained a bachelors degree in the faculty of engineering (B.Eng), in the department of mechanical Engineering specializing in industrial production engineering. Travels around the world where he has been carrying out a research on the problem of Africans and Mental Slavery. Hugo love poetry, table tennis, playing percussion instruments, children, other meaningful music, traveling, science and creativity. Above all loves peace ,harmony and justice. A cry for men to start thinking for the survival of the fittest has shown no mercy for the weak since the beginning of time. A cry for men to know that he who fails to plan will always live to face an unplanned future for if the pharaohs could commence the process of civilization in their times in great Africa with limited resources, then we could do more in this current times to contribute to the betterment of this great system A cry for men to know that what ever we see today that is not a work of nature is the work of man and we all have to demonstrate that creative spirit which dwells in all and be part of this great system and gains respect. A cry for men to learn to live in reality and appreciate the fact that no man departs this earth with anything not even a single hair of his body. A cry for men to demonstrate true love for one another and learn to live together in harmony. A cry for racial unity, equality and harmony. A cry for religious freedom and tolerance for our God is one and only one God. For if God be God he would be of no religion, he would be of no nation and he would be of no race. God will be for all. A cry for men run far away from crime for crime is an illusion and the world know about this, crime is an abuse of creative energy and power, a waste of time and efforts, a diversion from reality. A cry for economic empowerment and abolition of poverty. A cry for men to abstain from crime for crime is an illusion ,crime is a waste of time , crime is an abuse of creative power and waste of creative energy, crime is a diversion from reality . A cry for abolition of Mind Abuse (mental slavery) in Africa and all other forms of abuse that we experience. This is a wake up call , a liberation chant. These are words, beliefs and what the politically motivated poetic musician stands for and preaches in his one of kind album titled ‘MAMA AFRICA ’. This production can be best described as Poetic songs fused into a collection of Jazz, afro pop, blues , raga, house, instrumentals, combined with beautiful vocal renditions of choruses. This 9 track album with all songs written and performed by Hugo exhausts the beauty of Africa in the title track MAMA AFRICA. As the mother of civilization who in fact gave birth to heroes like, great Nelson Mandela , Kofi Anan, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Oprah Winfery, Oliver Tambo, Desmond Tutu, Prof Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe, Steve Biko, Samura Mitchell, Kenneth Kaunda, Walter Sisulu, Josiah Tongogara, Bob Marley, Phillip Emeagwali, Herbert Chitepo, Joshua Nkomo and many more. Also Hugo expresses his hopes and dreams for a better living conditions, equity and justice among all human race in his song, I HAVE A DREAM. By measure of his brilliance and love for a more peaceful world no doubt this poetic and visionary musician has really come to make a change in Africa and all over the world. His song time for change for tells this. The album released by a collective efforts of MOORGEEZ RECORDS, VISHA MUSIC AND BILLA SHAKA RECORDS and produced by Hugo as a proudly south African products has other thought provoking songs such as FREE THE PEOPLE , UNITE AFRICA , IZILILO , I PRAY, THE FITTEST SURVIVES, CRIME AN ILLUSION, ONE LOVE, TIME and others. The DVD version of MAMA AFRICA contains visual expressions and images of 9 songs and all the messages portrayed in this great work. It could be seen as a movie, documentary and also a music video. because of the high level of graphics represented there in. HUGO has also established an international organization called AFA meaning Abuse free Africa. This organization has come to fight against all levels of abuse in the African society. Child abuse, women abuse, men abuse, sex abuse, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, substance abuse and mind abuse (Mental slavery), abuse of creative power and energy, time abuse and life abuse. Hugo is also writing a book called the BLACK BOOK which shall redefine the meaning of the word Blackman and also bring a new era of total emancipation of Africans from Mental Slavery.
