Bio
BrickHouse boyz BrickHouse boyz started in the winter of 1998. After finishing two albums with the group Shadows of da Wolves, BrickHouse Boyz decided to branch out and do their own thing. Flooding the streets with mix tapes and EPs, hitting every open-mic competition there was, BrickHouse boyz began building a name for themselves by crushing everyone with their smooth flow and original style. Founders Miguel Tharpe, Darius Little and Charles Washington decided to take the show on the road and put together a Midwest tour performing at all the state colleges, hip-hop venues, and local spots citywide! Selling a total of 25,000 copies of their first solo album, As Long as the Hustle Lasts, and 40,000 copies of their follow-up album, State Tax, BrickHouse Boyz emerged on the scene as a force to be reckoned with. Inspired by MCs like Eric B and Rakim, Run DMC, Fat Boys, Pac and Biggie, BrickHouse Boyz was destined to go mainstream with their music. After a year of strictly concentrating on the music, the came back harder than ever with brand new music and funky base lines that would set them apart from the competition! After collaborating with the boy wonder super producer Trinnsetta, and business man, Sherrell Wayne, much is in store for 2008 with the release of the upcoming album, Brick Layin, followed by a twenty-five city tour. With hits like “Tranquilizer,” “Pimp Back,” and “Crook County,” BrickHouse Boyz is ready to rock the crowds! Staying positive, counting blessings and believing in the word of God goes a long way. Having faith in your work and dreams, staying humble, and giving back to the community will continue to be their focus and driving force. Be on the lookout for B.H.B. Entertainment and new projects from Ms. Kitty and other artists coming soon to a hood near you. Special thanks to Common, Twista, Do or Die, Crucial Conflict, Kanye West and DJ Scrap for pouring the foundation for the Brick Layin album! Shout out 2 the East, West, North, South Chicago Stand up!
