[color="blue"]JZ & KZ are multi-faceted artists whose music elements and interest range from Soul, Hip-Hop, and Deep House blending together to create a unique urban style and vibe that only the San Francisco Bay Area can produce. This songwriting team has been working together writing and producing for the last five years. Together they have created music for both commercial and urban audiences alike. KZ was born in San Francisco California where she soon studied and preformed art and music. Her influences range from artists such as Erika Badu and Mary J. Blige to Missy Elliot and the Bay Area favorite Lisa Shaw. KZ's ability to create strong infectious hooks and meaningful true to the heart lyrics are backed up by her distinct, intensely soulful, and sultry voice. JZ was born in Detroit Michigan where he lived until his parents divorced and mother moved him to the west coast of California. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area and traveling back and forth from Cali to Detroit JZ was cultivated by both East and West Coast music. A multi-instrumentalist JZ has recorded and played with various acts in the urban, Hip-Hop, and Neo-Soul genre. Influenced by the sounds of Motown, the music, style, and vibe of the Bay Area's club scene, JZ's found a style of writing all his own. Starting with a blueprint of phat beats and soulful bass lines he is ever trying to define and refine his production. Along with Bay Area producer Phil "Da Mill" Hennen, JZ & KZ have combined their everlasting talents into a strong mainstream demo titled "Point Of You" a culmination of life and love.[/color]
