Chigwah are from Polzeath, North Cornwall. Will and Wailin first jammed in 2003 drowning out the local cinema and the music begen to flow. The first few months were spent gigging at pubs and parties around Polzeath and Rock as a 2-piece and playing on the roof of TJs surf shop to a busy beach on August Bank Holiday. In 2004 the first demo was recorded in a friends home studio in the Cornish countryside and the gigging continued. Early 2005 saw Chigwah on holiday in Bali and jamming their music in the bars of Kuta. Tony bribed his way in on bass with a six pack, Will was the only one who could sing and play at the same time and Wailin worked on his power stance. First Pulse was written and recorded .
