Twenty percent dead is four piece rock band based in Dublin (IE). We've been together on and off for about 2 years but have finally come to a stable line up having recently recruited bass player Mik. Jim (guitar and vox) and John (drums) are long-time friends having been in punk bands in their early teens, Rob (lead guitar) was a long time acquaintance and recruited near the end of 2005. The band draws influences from many different genres and doesn’t necessarily try to stick any one. The early material was simple and grungy, heavy guitars played a fast pace with verse-chorus-verse arrangements. Since then the band has evolved and grown, getting weirder and heavier. The songs on this site were recorded almost a year ago and don’t really reflect our current ability, we still stand over these songs and give the occasional live airing. We’re planning on recording again before the end of the year but until then we want to concentrate on playing and enjoying ourselves. Thanks for reading! Jim [p][/p]
