If I could write somethig about founding of AMPHITERY, I must start with situation development in band INWARDS, cause destinies of this two bands are closely connected. Speed-metal band INWARDS was created in year 2005 from impulsion of Lubo Blasko (drums) and Ivan Hrncik (guitar), both are then leave speed-metal band Tristana, with an idea to create own formation by own concept. They needed just the second guitar and bassguitar. The second guitar play I (Peter Tonhauzer) and after about three months has joined to us Peto Sucanský at the bassguitar. Now we was able to start with the full power. During about 6 months had we prepared six songs, and four had we recorded in studio. We send the cd to the reviews and we becomed a few of critiques, which had better-than-averige ratings, bat they reproached us a couple of imperfecions. Now we was forced to search a new singer, but that was princippaly the singing, which they reproached to us. After four months had we with new singer Lubo Michalec, was we able start again with concerts and we have also starting the works on the second singel, which had started in end of juni 2007. Begin of year 2007 we had attended at two concerts, but after the second concert, told to us our bassguitarist Peter about his end in our band and also our singer Lubo leaved the band during two weeks after Peter. This caused the band another delay and full stop. We began to search new peoples. In may 2007 was at the band test Ada, which was interested to sing. We doesend ever imagine a woman singing in our style but her interpretation was good. In the meantime we recruit another girl - Maca, which will play at keyboards. But traditionaly, in our band comes another problem and that was our drumer Lubo, who has also founded INWARDS, he told us about his dissension with existing development of band, concretely with takeing of two girls. His condition was, when the girls will not leave the band, then he leaves the band. I with Ivan had decided that we don´t give in and had declined his request. That was consequently the end of INWARDS in old composition. The band leaves Lubo, but in the fact, the rest of band leaved his, cause Lubo invent the name of band and he want to keep it. Founding of AMPHITERY Band has formated 13.6.2007, when we all settle that Lubo leaves the band. We had before us many work. The test room was acquired but we must adapt it. The second problem was the name of band, we want something mystic, mysterious and agresive and finaly we accepted the name AMPHITERY , what is derived from on kind of mystic dragons AMPHITERE, which was known with they wisdom and knowledge but principialy, it was an interesting band name. The next step was the band web site and run of the new members.
