At the very core of their creativity lies the band's desire to express genuine and subtle feelings and emotions, which they convey through their music characterised by powerful and melodic riffs on the one hand, and outstanding vocal interpretation on the other. The name FrozenchilD bears a reference to the child in every one of us. Today's world forces us into estrangement, a state of dreary apathy and stubborn rigidity of the mind. The name FrozenchilD reflects on and warns from the lethargy and numbness of the human society. BIRTH The conceptually rounded album BIRTH contains songs from the group's early days, as well as the most recent ones. When they were writing the material, the band tried to emphasise the narrative elements and content, as these are becoming increasingly less important features in the superficial world that surrounds us. What matters today are consumer goods, wrapped in empty illusions and devoid of all essence. … with our album, we experience the world through the eyes of an emotional being that longs to wake up and rise from the ashes; a being that grows through highs and lows, acquiring new perspectives and experiences, and manipulating the aspects of life that surround it. It seeks to learn, to see through the kaleidoscope of invented needs, and overcome the anxiety of living in a world which is trying to subdue it, strip it of individuality, and imbue it with anonymity – all of which fuel in us the burning desire for the elusive material world.
