The name, “Jah Current,” he says was given to him by his friends who said that whenever they listened to his songs they would feel a sudden surge of “current” (electricity) running through them and due to his Rastafarian faith the “Jah” was added. When asked why this was he elaborated by saying, “the current could be felt in this song,” he poured his entire being into it and the song is so relatable that every one can see and feel where he was coming from.
