[b][u]THE STORY OF NINO[/u][/b] Nino was born in 1979, in Paris. His father was a restaurant owner and his mother is employee who take care of old persons. His parents get divorced when Nino was 6 years old : Nino’s father was very violent. When he was at the elementary school, Nino couldn't be focused on classes and often stay alone thinking he was the only one child to be in this situation. Music was the only way to erase his sorrow. Currently, Nino is a 28 years old singer and songwriter who started to sing when he was a little boy. At the age of theirtheen, he began to take the singing seriously. He was involved in a choral and had the opportunity to discover the stage's love. At the same period, he discovered a french soul band named Native and young talented singer called Mariah Carey who give him the desire to improve his vocal technic and to write his own songs. Then, he took several singing classes with different teachers like Anthony Hamilton or Freddy Lawson: lyric, jazz, international variety and gospel. He started to write his songs by himself, by hear, as an autodidact. When he was twenty, Nino was in High School, in a class with fellows who can dance, sing and rap. It was some kind of Sister Act class if you have ever seen the movie. So they decided to organize a concert which included those cultural activities : the Nasty Jam band was born. The band organized the event in two months (promotion, communication, song writing). It was a success! Nasty Jam didn't expected that : too much people was there to see the show but a lot of them couldn't come inside the venue because the place was too small and some of the audience didn’t even have a chair to sit down ! After this project, the band disappeared because some people has other project to do like studies for instance. Then, Nino pursued his road as a solist, the following year, with several song of his own composition like Everytime a powerful love slow jam song. He performed in the first part of a french soul group named Sweetness. At this period, Nino worked with seven persons. He trained themselves to be the background vocals singers. After that, he decided to stop his studies for music and worked as a women shoe saler to follow his dream. One year after, he met a friend, who was in the same choral he was. This guy told him : “There is a institution called the Performing Art Center where singing, acting and dancing is taught”. So, Nino decided to make it. Therefore, the artistic road was too rude and Nino decided to go back to his studies. But he chose to make creative studies to suit with his concepts. Then Nino did 5 years of studies in Advertising, Communication, Multimedia and Journalism. Now Nino has a Master degree in Communication Editorial and Multimedia and want to come back to his artistical basics. My influences are : Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Usher, Earth Wind and Fire, Beyoncé, Dru Hill, Babyface, Boyz II Men, Mary J Blige, Whitney Houston, Black Eyed Peas, Native, Justin Timberlake and many others.
