My name is Roc Ness the Producer/Artist from Marion, Indiana. First started producing music 9 years ago and rapping for 8 years, I picked up the hobby, because it was my only outlet other than sports. But when I was 15 my parents were finalizing there divorce and they used to argue so much, I would have to put my headphones on and turn the volume on my beat machine and blast the music to block out all of the yelling and fights. At the age 16 going into my sophomore year of high school my pop's got locked up in Plainfield, so my moms had to move to Indianapolis and get a job because there were no jobs Marion you know. That basically gave me and my older brother Lil L who was 18 yrs. at the time freedom to do whatever we want, all I can say is drugs, sex, and entertainment. We had to make ends meat somehow-someway because moms wasn't giving us shit. So selling my beats and lbs, TV's, computers, and cars whatever we had the plug on we sold it you know. But Lil L wanted the money to get fly and I wanted money to pay for college in case I didn't get a scholarship. I mean where I'm from there are no opportunities, no jobs, so going to college was my only way out. Now I'm finished with college, and I have a lil son which gives me even more motivation to accomplish goals and get signed or have my own label up and running. I just want to resurrect my life in the birth of my seed and make everything right.
