Bio

I was born on 4th August 1988, to the parents of Sandra Haines and John Thomas. My love for music came from the combination of both my mother’s love of music and my father being a DJ. From the tender age of One, when I had my first (Fisher Price) Cassette Recorder, and I would never go anywhere without it. I would always be recording myself singing and even taped over one of my mum’s favourite tapes in doing so. At the age of Four, I started Hannah More Primary School, and left at the age of ten to go to Summerhill Juniors. I then went on to Speedwell Technology College at the age of eleven. I would always be singing at home but when I was fourteen, I performed in the Schools production of “Stars in their Eyes”, and when my mum, step dad and family heard me sing, my mother said to me after the show, “that she knew I could sing but didn’t realise how good I really was until then, and that everyone was very proud of me”. And my step father even said “that when I sang it sent shivers down his spine”. When I left school I enrolled on the Vocal Artist Course at the Access to Music College in Hengrove, Where I performed many times in College performances and I was also a guest performer at the Fry’s 2005 Search for a Star competition. I have been writing my own material for many years, and my first song Relationships was produced in a studio and I also made it into an amateur music video, with the help of my family and friends.
