MiaJonae....A female artist with fabulous singing ability that is out of this world. Mia began singing and performing at a young age in which she discovered that music and singing was what she craved more than anything eles in the world. Mia has been in numerous singing groups but none of them had the drive, that she had to make her dream a reality. so she had to move on as a solo artist. Music is a big part of her life. Spending alot of her time writing and arranging music. Mia is very versitial when it comes to her style. Some may say she has that kind of rich love ballad soul music that tugs at your heart strings. And some may say she's a strong alto with a nostalgic soul sound. Her sound is often compared to a combination of Anita Baker, Lauryn Hill and Sade rolled up into one. She also enjoys to make you dance mixing a little Reggae, Hip-Hop and R & B. Mia wants to make a diffrence in todays society and feels that her sweet voice is only the begining. In high school Mia was an active member of Smith Sweet Sixteen a highly profiled show choir. Which taught her to read music and the experience of performing on stage. Mia also has dancing ability which will compliment her music and singing performances. While Mia was a member of a singing group 4EVAMORE for 8 yrs they have performed up and down the east coast area and even over sees in the uk. At this point as a solo artist Mia is looking for the right label where she can expand her horizons. So the music on myspace is just a taste .... there's more in the works.....
