I am a mother of 4, 3 young men and 1 young lady. I grew up with country and newfoundland music, I used to be woken up by my dad to join in. There was my aunts and uncles having a great time. I would join in then my dad would swat me in the arm and said use your real voice. That still makes me laugh. I never pursued my music, instead as you can see I started a family. A few years ago I started seeing a vocal coach, and it was the best move I ever made. He was impressed with me, and asked me to be a part of a cd he was going to be putting together. But I got cold feet. I cannot even bring myself to perform at the local contest here. I have tried for the last 5 years and still I have not made it there. The funny thing is that I know if I make that first step there is no stopping me. (maybe that is what I am afraid of) But never the less, I enjoy singing very much and will continue to do so, no matter what the environment. [color="cyan"][/color][color="indigo"][/color]
