Seventhnation or 7th Nation emerged on the scene in the early 90's as a member of 5 local hiphop groups creating a sound from each group to hold his own as a Souloist.Having such success from one particular group called the"Fourest Dwellaz" landed them a record deal with Interface/Metroplex ran by Juan Atkins flooding the airways with thier hit single"The leavez R changing colorz" brought national attention to the group that eventually fizzled out after bumping heads a few times with label executives.Nation moved on to work with other producers from Detroit,ATL,D.C.,and N.Y.to bring his soulful sound to the world without making him sound like whatever was hot at the time.9 to 5 jobs proved once again you gotta' live to eat,but this brotha' here is the proof of adversity.A product of Inkster MI,and seven bullets short on death at 17, Nation has made his mark in Detroit as a hiphop singer/producer/mc and was blessed to be good friends with the late great BIG PROOF who introduced him to the late supa-producer JOHNDOE/JAYDEE/J DILLA/JAMES YANCEY and blessed him with a track that solidified his credit to be one of Michigan's finest hiphop artist! In 03'-04'he landed his first track on SRC/Universal's artist Ric-a-che's "Lack of communication" album with his own single called" Jean-a-cole" that brought attention to him from Hit producer "Knobody" of 12 nations that blessed Jay-Z with" Can't Knock the hustle" and Big Pun's "Still not a player" featuring Joe to name a few which is a partner with one of Nation' closes friends from Inkster,TY"Kynce"Wimberly that made it possible for that trip to N.Y., the rest is history! Okane management put Nation in the studio, let him do his thing for a few years to get his craft tighter and gave him the push to get back out there own his own.Nation then collabed finally with Hasaan and Malik "Glasshouse" Mausi to create the smash single "Can't Wait" and "Let's do it again" produced by Lorenzo for that sound only Nation was born to let you feel the real Motown.....
