Born in South Bronx, NY and partially raised there, Rev is no stranger to rough times and tense surroundings. Moving to New Bedford faired no better, as he moved into the (NOW CALM) Shawmut Village Housing Projects in 1991. In '91, the Potter Street area was flooded with gang members, drug dealers, and addicts which always created a potential for violence. Rev looked past that, kept to himself, and at age 14 began writing raps to help release tension. Since then he has been rapping for about 9 years now and recording for 6 years. Revalation has experienced many adversities in his life but has always found a way to turn negative into positive. Both of his crews EMS and the Mic Murderers have started to get local recognition. Doing shows all over MA, RI, NH, ME, NJ and even Montreal, CAN at the Hard Rock Cafe. With his versatile flow, attention getting mic presence and hard hitting rhymes, Revalation is sure to bring the conciousness and fun back to hip-hop.
