Coming up as a young'n he always had music in his heart and in his ear. From entering talent shows as a teenager to buying his first beat machine while stationed in Europe serving in the US Army, he learned and perfected his craft as well as fine tuning his production skills to produce his own tracks. Establishing himself as one of Orlando's top artists and producers, he expanded his boundries well into the ATL, Memphis, and Nashville. Making beats for other artists gained him the notoriorty and ability to now work on his very own solo album, "On Dangerous Ground". The lead single "I'm Just A Thug Nigga" gave Short the street buzz he was looking for as well as putting him on the playlist for the underground stations, and on the stages for the Annual Florida Classic and Spring Break concerts. "On Dangerous Ground" also earned him a spot in the Orlando based Magazine "Ozone". One year later following up on the buzz of "On Dangerous Ground" he released his second album "Off Da Block". The first single "Off Da Block" was an underground street hit. Now as a popular underground artist and a growing production company consisting of himself and long time production partner Lamar "Stuntman" Small, Balla Short is now working on his third release "Street Talk Vol1" mixtape.
