[b]300 Block the name came from a college building where all of the group members met. The group members consist of Phonzo (Alphonzo Tuurner, 21), Duece Duece (Chris Cater, 20), Steve-O Suavee’/ Savage (Steven Cousin, 21), and L.T.G. better known as *L* (Hasahn Jones, 18). 300 Block are Rap based group with an R&B twist. The members of 300 Block reside all throughout Georgia. With Duece residing in Stockbridge, GA, Steve-O residing in College Park, GA, Phonzo residing in Marietta, GA, and *L* residing in Alpharetta, GA makes the group very well diverse with different Georgia styles. With these different styles create “A unique sound that hasn’t been heard throughout Georgia” says A&R’s. 300 Block has currently finished their demo CD and are entering A&R showcases. The group also has other projects they are working on such as the 300 Block Mixtape which is produced by Duece Duece and Phonzo which is a opportunity to promote their music as well as other up incoming artist. The group is also currently trying to open up their club, Club 6.21. At the moment 300 Block is trying to shop around their demo to interested labels. These born performers are always looking to showcase their talent anywhere they are, from malls, clubs, schools, etc. L.T.G. (*L*), the youngest member in the group is originally from Lexington, KY. He is all about music and style. He has been doing the rap thing since he was 15 meaning he hasn’t been doing it for a long time but when you hear the kid flow its ridiculous! He has always been considered a “VERY FRESH” young man with a swagger that all the ladies love! He so laid back but so wild at the same time. Always making people laugh but when it comes to rapping he takes it very serious. When people hear his flow they get that sour look on they face like “WOW” the kid is nice! *L* wasn’t originally in 300 Block. *L* has always been close with Phonzo who was friends with Duece and Steve-O at college where 300 Block originated. Phonzo knowing *L* could rap, he came up with the idea to put *L* in the group. So you can call *L* the missing link to 300 Block. *L*’s plans and career path for his music is to go as far as he can go and take it as far as he can take it, The sky is the limit with him. *L* is so unpredictable, you never known what your going to get out of him but one thing you can expect foreshore is nothing less than greatness. PHONZO, the oldest member of the group at the age of 21, is originally from Harrisburg PA. He moved to GA about 6 years ago. Ever since his younger ages such as 12 and 13, Phonso has shown that he belongs in show business. Phonso begin raping at the early age of 13, he would shock older kids in the school bathrooms and on the back of the school bus with is mature lyrics and choose of words. With him knowing that he with held this type of talent. He became positive that rap would be his life. With him moving back and forth from PA to GA due to family problems he developed a mastered, unique flow that consisted of a up north swag with a dirty south mix to it. Almost giving up on rap, due to no results, Phonso left to college, where he met Steve-o. Phonso having a born ear for music it only took one time for him to hear Steve-o sign and rap a line to no that music as he knew it was not over. Now having a singer and rap companion they soon needed to find a place to lay down songs. Phonso would soon find Duece Duece and gave him the name the DJ. Phonzo and Steve would rap and Duece would record and mix. All seemed to be going well to the eye, but Phonzo knew in his mind that something was missing, and he knew exactly what it was *L*. Phonzo soon contacted *L* and told him it was time to show off the talent he had. 300 Block was now complete. So some may say that Phonzo is the connect, some may also call him a dreamer. One thing is for sure there is a lot of talent, knowledge and determination involved with this young man. 300 Block is a promising group that will make a name for their selves in the industry. With their hard work ethic there is nothing they can’t accomplish, especially with all the talent surrounded in the group, it’s dangerous what they could do!
