In my life of guessing and wondering what I am, And where I'm destined to go, I see the Light. The light of Music, The thing makes me wonder if theirs any Reason to search on." S.I.C Tha V.I.P Growing up in a small town, in the country of North Carolina, I had to discover life was full of twists and turns. I discovered how wrong even though it was wrong felt so right. At the age of 12 I received 28 felony counts of Larceny And 28 counts of misdemeanor breaking and entering, and 1 federal count of each for breaking into my high school. I had decided school was the way to go because i made so much money fencing the merchandise and selling the drugs I received in return. By the age of thirteen I was raising hell in the streets of my home town. I was a vampire in contrast to the others in town,as I kept hours with the stars. On those long nights of moving goods and listening to my Sony Walkman, I developed an urge to flow.Although time after time I was questioned and held down by the white rapper stereotype, I strived to flourish in the mediocrities of an ever so dim life. Then BLAM..... All the **** in past grabbed my ****... First came Juvenile det. followed by court. I Spent a total of 3 and a half years, Incarcerated, on intensive probation,on house arrest, and in anger management classes. I had a problem with authority, I just wouldn't listen. At 17 i was finally free, free with the urge, free with the desire, and free with an acquired taste for the sweet sweet ganga. I Had a choice, be free and follow the path of generations before me and work hard for the rest of my life, Or go back to the streets, I decide to mix it up a bit. I used the knowledge and the strength i gain from the streets/jail and started making moves. My first gig was a small job of robbing dro men. It came easy cause i lived in the country and there was a lot of collage boy's in the city. It came easy, go in, Pull Out, Round up, bound, bounce , that was the system we call G.P for short.(good purpose) After about a year of terrorizing the Mama's boy's on campus I decided to try this somewhere else. I figured the beach Was As good a place as any. So I left, and headed south east to Wilmington N.C. When I got to the beach i had family already in the area so stayed with them. Thats when it TOOK ME OVER, the urge was now finally at an embarking point. I had no choice. I went to some shows in the port city where I Grabbed the mic on stage at The Rox night club where my boys from The Root Soul Project, were headlining. The urge carried me to the level of promotion, which is where my company,Conexx online apparel (www.spreadshirt.conexx.com) came from. With a complete selection of band shirts it also has some of the hottest Urban wear on the net. And From there I took my urge to a level that was unadvised by many but embraced by as many. I opened Lucky B Records to the public. Among the people that showed I met the boyz from Bottom Street productions, Nappy Roots,Dakel, Drailed,24K, Snake,Pilsbury,Lefty tha blac joe peschie, Dat Dude, Tra-Pound from Teflon Records/DipSet, Wrightsville Green, And many many more. On that note i'll tell you about X.O. Myself, 24K,Snake, Drailed formed a Group in Order to compete on Mtv2's Make It Or Break It, due to snow in Atlanta, the comp got pushed to the following day, then when we got to the venue for shooting the venue owner pushed us out , the D.j hadn't been booked for the day, and they had only 1 wireless mic.. The promoter decided we should go to their studio and broadcast live over the web. X.O. came in 2nd in the competition,Although there was only 1 judge which was the promoter(sounds like some **** to me to folks) and i don't think he was completely bias. After our shady loss in ATL I took some time off to prefect my beat making process, after hundreds of trial pieces I've finally made the mold, the mold that every time i do something from now till forever, will be the mold i try to break. Now I'm Excepting my first son Sylas Ryele To be born around Christmas. Its a new step in the staircase we call life, but just like the times before I will over come, and keep bring you the light, the light of MUSIC!
