Keep an ear and eyes out for them. Attitude is key, and KFG has it!" -Johnathon L, 98 KUPD-FM, Arizona ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kung Fu Grip is a band that started out as a recording project. Anthony K (Singer/Guitarist) had been writing and recording demos on a 4-track, in which he played all the instruments himself. Anthony had been playing drums in bands for years. He got his start in a band called Good Grief, with Ricky Wells. They made a name for themselves playing all over NY, doing mostly all ages shows. He then joined the band The Nerve! Their most recent CD was released on Heyday Records, and produced by Bumblefoot (Guitarist of Guns N’ Roses). The Nerve! did a European tour with Bumblefoot in late 2005. In the summer of 2005, Anthony K decided that he was going to take his demos and record an album. He began recording his material while trying to complete the band. For a lead guitar player he didn't have to look very far. Ricky Wells (from the band Good Grief) liked the demos and asked to join the band, and produce the album. For the position of bass, Anthony asked John, a former band mate. After a revolving door of drummers Anthony enrolled Byron, thus completing the line-up! In the summer of 2007, the band played all around the east coast. This included a couple of dates at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson NJ. One of which was a summer concert event with Peter Frampton. The album is now available for sale now on iTunes, Napster, and pretty much any music download site! It can be special ordered in stores as well as Cdbaby.com, and the band's official website and myspace page. www.KungFuGripOnline.com and www.myspace.com/kungfugrip
