L@ F@MIL@, Born in p..rico moved to the streets of Stamford CT,,Two years after his birth there he grew up in the streets of the south end ,were the population was all minorities and at the time in the early 80's .It was only drugs,alcohol,break dancing that surounded him ( shit was hottt).After living in the south end for 11years his MOm decided to take the family of five, 2 sis and 1 brother(AKA)jubean...and Lito(AKA) chepdogg,,,,and move to the " SOUTHFIELD VILLAGE" (AKA)SOUTHKILL,,,,,THese Projects were highrises..that went up 8 floors,,of straight Pissy Hall Ways!!!!!! Also was surounded by Bungalose...these,Projects were on AMERICA'S MOST WANTED!! So moving to these projects is where the name ( Chepdogg )was born learning to survive to live and protect himself and his family,,it was the worst times but also his best (Back in those days he use to hustle, gang bang,carry pistols 24/7and live,,or try to LIVE, It was "Ruff" in that place but thats what made him! And he gained the respect that he has now,,,,,,! The Rapping was always there ! From standing on a corner hustling.He use to battle the others out there for fun all the time or just to kill time,,It was always more about the money! Back in 98 he hit the studio with his brother ..and recorded his first cd called THE TRUTH ....that cd still to this day has not been leaked out since Dogg for the lifestyle he lived landed jail time....Music is his life his heart he still is a artist with alot of heart in to his music .He is an artist with real potential for success and will never give up in his journey!From Southfield Village Dogg learned how to survive and thats why his 1 saying is I am a Survivor!!
