[b]Success[/b] in the music industry [b]is crucial [/b]to TeeJay's everyday life. TeeJay is an extremely hard working R&B, HipHop, and Rap producer. His daily hustle consists of making beats, and marketing them. He often writes lyrics and assists artists with writing their lyrics, and assists and guides recording sessions for artists. TeeJay grew up with a love for music. He began playing the flute at the age of 6, and continued to play for the next 8 years. At the age of 9, TeeJay decided to teach himself to learn piano keys and learn to play each song that he learned in his band (playin the flute) on the piano. At the age of 14 TeeJay decided to stop playing the flute and focus on learning the piano deeper... learning to play by ear. He would immitate songs that he heard on the radio. He then bought his first keyboard, and learned to make his own beats saving them in keyboard memory. People began to see his talent as he grew older and better. Eventually people who would hear his music would either point him in the direction of HipHop and R&B artists, or simply place word to him that he should produce music for artists. TeeJay began to wise up and decided to learn more about the business side of the music industry. Through reading many books in music and business, he gained to the knowledge that he has today.
