I Love Music! All kinds really but I'm a 80's baby so Rap/Hip-Hop's my 1st love. I started at about 7-8 years old when my older brother introduced me to "Rap City" & "YO MTV RAPS", we would get up every Saturday morning to watch them both. Most of the rappers' after seeing their videos my brother would get their tapes, I would sit in his room & listen to shit for hours; Big Daddy Kane-Biz Markie-Kool G Rap-A Tribe Called Quest; u know- damn near everything- u name it he had it. I would examine these niggas flow, rhyme patterns, metaphores, punclines & overall delivery. All I can say is to this day alot of rappers still can't fuc wit' those East Coast cats lyrically, tha niggas is Sik! Still though that's when it was mostly East Coast acts on the scene, when the West Coast came in the picture though it was a lot easier to relate to their music & style coming from Shreveport La. which bac then had a heavy gang culture. I remember seeing N.W.A's "100 Miles & Runnin" video on the "Jukebox" & saying to myself " all their doin' is talkin' bout' where they from-I can do that!" I sat down & wrote my first verse talkin' bout' tha' shit I had seen & heard livin' in my hood, I was 10 yrs old. After that I never stopped writing & bac then & even now I listen to damn near everything, every coast long as tha' shit tight I'm fuc'n wit' it. I'll always be a fan before a rapper. By the time I was 17 my homeboys "Dycuz" & "Wayniac" were in Dallas TX. working with their relatives who had just started the indie label "Pelican Records" & they were looking for new artist. So my group who I had been working with & I moved to Dallas shortly where we picced up the name "Tramp-1-Eight" (representin' northern Louisiana), & appeared on the "P.P.C/Clicked Up" compilation. Shortly after we returned home & met "Willie Patterson" who himself was starting an indie label called "Southport Ent." were we recorded the "Tramp-1-Eight/L.I.T" album. Since then we're still a group but everyone has their own individual projects. www.myspace.com/fudgelocc
